My sister and I decided to go dress shopping one day and ended up at David's Bridal. I originally didn't want to purchase my dress from a David's Bridal but I thought It didn't hurt looking. I had an idea of what type of dress I wanted but was willing to go outside of the box. It turned out that the style of dress I had in mind didn't flatter me so the lady helping me picked this dress out and once I got into the dress I LOVED it! With only minor adjustments the off the rack 6 will fit perfectly and give me more shape. My colors are red, black, and white so I am going to get a ribbon for around my waist that will match my fiance's tie. The back of the dress is my favorite part. I love the lace encircling my back. This is the part of the dress that people will see the most so it was important to me to pick one out that had a nice back.

As far as a veil. I am growing out my hair so I can do a 50s chignon (bun) and have a birdcage veil. The dress has a vintage look so we have decided to give the wedding a theme based off the dress. A 1950s picnic. Wine, cheese, BBQ, and gingham on the tables.
